Joe Simon’s Jazz has been performing traditional New Orleans music for over 50 years. Following Joe’s retirement in 2014: the torch has been passed to  long-time members: guitarist Vic Shepherd & trumpeter Chuck Brackman (pictured w/ Joe). Playing favorites from Louis Armstrong, Fat’s Domino, Al Hirt, and plenty more: in addition to performing hundreds of weddings, conventions, and special events for visitors & generations of New Orleanians. . they have travelled throughout the country performing for the likes of: Presidents Bush (both) & Clinton, US Senators, the NFL,NCAA,NBA, & celebrities such as Sandra Bullock, Jim Carey, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Currently: Joe Simon’s Jazz also  provides the Jazz Brunch Trios @ Commander’s Palace, Muriel’s on Jackson Square  and the Palace Cafe.
